Breaking Sports: Box Elder's magic season ends in Great Falls

The Box Elder girls basketball team came up one win short of its goal to reach the Class C state tournament. Monday night at the Swarthout Fieldhouse in Great Falls, the Winnett-Grass Range Rams defeated the Bears 61-46 in a Northern C challenge game. The loss ended the Bears' season with a sparkling 22-2 record, while the Rams will join Belt as the Northern C teams at the state tourney March 8-10 back in Great Falls. Aricka Wolf Chief scored 17 points and Crystal Stamper added 14 for the Bears on Monday night.
