Bartley Richard Fink

Bartley Richard Fink, 59, passed away on Friday, May 25, at his residence as the result of an apparent heart attack. Cremation has taken place, and his memorial service will be 11 a. m. Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at St. Jude Thaddeus Church, with Father Daniel Wathen officiating.

A fellowship luncheon will be held at the St. Jude Parish Center immediately after the service. Memorial contributions in Bartley's honor may be made to Northern Montana Care Center Chapel Fund NMHCF, P.O. Box 1231, Havre MT 59501. Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.

Bart received his bachelor's degree from California State-Hayward in 1975 and his master's degree from Northern Montana College in 1979. Bart grew up in Southern California, in suburbs of Los Angeles including Whittier and Hacienda Heights.

Bart was a devoted son, husband, father and grandfather.

He was married to Peggy Fink for 32 years, and from the union two children were

born, Melissa (Scott) Briggs and Ryan (Candace) Fink.

Bart's hobbies included fishing, painting, movie watching and playing cards for fun.

Bart was preceded in death by his father, Richard Fink; and his brother, Steve Fink.

He is survived by

his wife, Peggy Fink of Havre, Mont. ; his son, Ryan (Candace) Fink of Ogden, Utah; his daughter, Melissa (Scott) Briggs of Idaho Falls, Idaho; his mother, Yvonne Fink of San Marcos, Calif. ; his sisters, Jennifer (Scott) Heckendorn of Truckee, Calif., and Valerie (Ben) Morris of San Marcos, Calif. ; sister in-law, Pat Fink of Lake Chelan, Wash. ; and his special granddaughter, Stella Ryley Briggs.
