Local Golf Report: New things happening on the course

For some time yet, weather will play a role in golf around Montana. After all, it really is only spring and weather is volatile, especially in Havre.

Last week was a perfect example as only one night of men's golf league was played at Prairie Farms.

The second Tuesday of a brand new men's season was cancelled, but teams got Wednesday night in. Michelob Light earned high-team honors for the night, scoring 23 points. The team is composed of Jim Kato, Tom Baker III, Bruce Normandy and Tom Adams. Kato and Matt Hedstrom shared low gross, each shooting 35, while Bill Keller was low net with a 31.
