Our View: Hi-Line darts and laurels

DART - The Montana Public Service Commission has voted 4-1 to abolish a rule that requires the state's largest utilities to disclose the salaries of their chief executive officers. While the utilities are not government operated, they are a monopoly. and they depend entirely on money that comes from the public. Some utilities have threatened to sue. We're sorry the PSC caved so easily. We think the commission was right in 2010 when it passed the disclosure act.
