Laurel — A working group has been struggling for some time on a way to make necessary renovations to the St. Mary Diversion, a program that has been vital to the area for a century. The group moved forward this week when it decided to hire a consultant to draft a detailed work plan for the future. We hope this comes to fruition. The diversion is critical to the economy of the Hi-Line.
