William H. 'Bill' Roberts

William H. "Bill" Roberts, 70, Grand Forks, N.D., died Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at home.

William Henry Roberts was born Sept. 6, 1942, in Havre, Mont., the son of William and Hope (Golie) Roberts. He attended schools and graduated from Havre High School in May 1961.

After graduation, he joined the U.S. Army. After his discharge, he moved to Los Angeles, where he served with the L.A. Police Department for 12 years. He then moved back to Havre, where he went to work for the Burlington Northern Railroad. A year later he was promoted to foreman and worked in Laurel, Mont....
