Kamp for Kids still in planning

A group trying to bring back a decades-old Hill County tradition is still in the planning stages, with a change to the name of the youth summer camp.

Ursula Brese, who is one of the organizers for Kamp for Kids in Beaver Creek Park, said that while the Hill County Farmers Union board of directors approved a donation to help pay for the camp, they are not sponsors.

Other groups that have made donations include NorthWestern Energy, Bear Paw Credit Union, Independence Bank and Sheila Forshee’s real estate agency with Keller Williams Realty.
