Havre Police Department

A 5th Avenue caller reported Tuesday at 1:23 p.m. a phone scam in which someone claims to represent NorthWestern Energy. Officers are investigating.

Tuesday at 1:51 p.m. officers were called to investigate a two-vehicle crash on 3rd Street.

Officers investigated a complaint of bullying reported Tuesday at 2:48 p.m. from 5th Street.

Officers investigated a report made Tuesday at 3 p.m. of vandalism to a vehicle and a garage.

———

A caller at a 1st Street business reported two juvenile shoplifters Tuesday at 4:58 p.m., and responding officers made two arrests, but no further details were provided.

After a caller at a 1st Street West business reported an intoxicated man almost getting hit by vehicles Wednesday at 12:29 a.m., responding officers arrested a 41-year-old Box Elder man for criminal trespass to property.

During a motor vehicle stop on 1st Street at 2:18 a.m. Wednesday, an officer arrested a 24-year-old Harlem woman on a Justice or City court warrant and a 20-year-old Fort Belknap woman for driving without a valid driver's license.

Officers investigated a possible 24/7 Sobriety Program violation Wednesday at 8:05 a.m.

A 14th Avenue caller reported a stolen Wii game Wednesday at 9:35 a.m., and officers issued a summons to a 48-year-old Box Elder man for theft.

Officers investigated a camper with a window shot out, reported from 6th Avenue at 12:19 p.m. Wednesday.

After a caller reported barking dogs on Knob Road Wednesday at 12:54 p.m., officers issued a summons for nuisance dog to a 34-year-old Havre woman.

Officers investigated a pickup truck with the window shot out, reported at 1:48 p.m. Wednesday from 4th Avenue.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies at Hill County Detention Center arrested a 30-year-old female inmate from Havre on a Valley County Justice Court warrant Wednesday at 11:06 a.m.

Deputies investigated an assault reported at 4:26 p.m. Wednesday at a Box Elder establishment.

At 12:52 a.m. today a caller in Gildford reported receiving harassing phone calls. Deputies investigated the incident.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency response crews were called to rescue a couple stranded on a tractor in Little Box Elder Creek at 9:21 a.m. Wednesday. The two people were taken to safety and did not require transport to the hospital. An ambulance crew responded to a medical call at 2:55 a.m. today.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the shelter held a female black and white Labrador-mix puppy, a male black and tan cat and a male orange and white cat.

A boy was born June 5, 2013, to Laurel K. Weaselboy and Thomas J. Parker Jr. of Havre.
