Breaking news - Flash flood warnings in effect

National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for the region, including Blaine, Chouteau, Hill and Liberty counties, as showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop along the Rocky Mountain Front this afternoon and move east.

The storms are expected to bring large hail, severe winds and heavy rainfall, potentially leading to flash flooding.

People are urged to have a plan of action in place and to monitor local forecasts and warnings, and to take immediate action if flash flood warnings occur.

Weather spotters are asked to report any sightings of hail, strong wind gusts, heavy rainfall or flooding.
