Cheryl Lee Florea

Cheryl Lee Florea, 62, passed away on July 3, 2013, in Great Falls, Mont. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 12, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation has taken place with burial in Moravia Cemetery at the Florea family plot in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, at a later date. Arrangements have been made with Edwards Funeral Home of Chinook.

Cheryl was born on August 25, 1950 in Minneapolis, Minn. to Theodore and Delores Metro. Cheryl grew up in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, attending Bonners Ferry High School and shortly after, she met the love of her life, Robert Florea. Robert and Cheryl were married on March 17, 1968, in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, and welcomed two children, Patrick Joseph and Melysa Rae. Cheryl enjoyed their life together for 45 years, making many friends along the way.

Cheryl enjoyed many hobbies and interests. Cheryl spent many years in the restaurant industry, managing and as an owner. Cheryl ran Goodies Galore in Chinook for the last few years of her life. Cheryl also enjoyed many arts and crafts, including her special glass block art.

Cheryl is survived by her husband, Robert Florea, son Patrick (Lisa) Florea of Havre, daughter, Melysa (James) Halseth of Harlem, granddaughter Brogan Overcast and grandson Kale (Serena) Overcast, her mother, Delores Evans, brothers Greg Metro, Rick Metro and Tom Metro, numerous nephews and nieces and grandchildren and great granddaughter.

Cheryl is preceded in death by her father Theodore Metro and step father Edward Evans.
