Responding to a request for assistance at the police station at 6:12 a.m. Thursday, officers issued a summons to a 13-year-old youth for minor in possession.

After receiving a complaint at 8:52 a.m. Thursday of people living in a rental on 2nd Street West that is supposed to be vacant, Officers made an arrest, but no further details were provided.

Officers investigated a report made Thursday at 12:12 p.m. of plants stolen from a 2nd Street business.

While investigating a report of six transients loitering on 1st Stree West, officers arrested a 51-year-old Box Elder man on a Justice or City Court warrant.

Officers called to a disturbance with a man beating a woman near Smithville Road at 10:06 p.m Sunday made four arrests, but no further details were provided.

Officers called to a disturbance at a 2nd Street Northeast residence Monday at 3:10 a.m. issued a summons to a 30-year-old Havre man for partner or family member assault.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies served a warrant at Hill County Detention Center Wednesday at 4:33 p.m., but no further details were provided.

Deputies serving a warrant at the Great Northern Fairgrounds arrested a 30-year-old Box Elder man on a Justice or City court warrant Friday at 7:52 p.m.

Deputies investigating a drug offense Friday at 10:50 p.m. at the fairgrounds issued summonses a 13-year-old Rocky Boy girl, a 14-year-old Havre boy and a 16-year-old Havre boy, each on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and dangerous drugs.

Friday at 11:17 p.m. a caller reported finding a lost pair or pants and wallet at the spillway in Beaver Creek Park. Deputies investigated the incident.

Deputies serving a warrant at the fairgrounds Saturday at 9:28 p.m arrested a 29-year-old Havre woman on a Justice or City court warrant.

Deputies serving a warrant at the fairgrounds Saturday at 11:40 p.m arrested an 18-year-old Havre man on a Justice or City court warrant.

———

During a motor vehicle stop on Beaver Creek Road at 3:44 p.m. Sunday, a deputy arrested a 32-year-old Havre woman on three Justice or City court warrants.

Monday at 1:02 a.m. the fairgrounds manager reported vandalism to several items. Deputies are investigating.

Havre Police Department

Emergency medical service personnel responded to two calls Thursday, five calls Friday, four calls Saturday and four calls Sunday. Fire crews were called out twice over the weekend. One call was a to investigate a wire short to ensure no spark existed to start a fire. NorthWestern Energy also was called in to inspect the wiring. The call Sunday was in response to a fire alarm at a private residence, and the smoke was caused by cookies forgotten, and burning, in the oven.

Births

A girl was born July 19, 2013, to Kelsie and Kendall Harwood of Havre.

Water main break repaired quickly

A water main break was reported to the Police Department Saturday at 7:41 p.m on the 400 block of 6th avenue, near St. Jude Thaddeus Church. The caller reported a lot of water on the street. Police called Havre Public Works, who fixed the break with a repair band.
