Barbara 'Bobi' Baker

GREAT FALLS — Barbara “Bobi” Baker, 85, of Great Falls passed away, Monday, Aug. 12, 2013, from COPD at home surrounded by family.

At her request, no services will be held. Cremation has taken place.

Bobi was born July 30, 1928 in Havre, Mont.

She held many different jobs in Seattle, California, Havre, Forsyth and Great Falls.

At the time of her retirement, due to illness, she was a cook at the Gold Dust Casino in Great Falls. She was also an accomplished portrait artist.

Bobi had many good friends throughout her travels and remembered them fondly.

She loved camping and fishing and her beloved dogs. She always had one or two dogs sharing her life.

Above all, she loved her extended family of nieces and nephews.

Bobi is survived by her nieces, Sharon Skinner of Havre, Linda Harding and Deb (Ken) Rappe both of Great Falls, and Carol Russell of New Castle, Kentucky; nephews, Dale Tuttle of Forsyth, David Skinner of Havre, and Bob (Connie) Knickerbocker of Huntley; great nieces, Kim, Liz, Mary, Kimberly, Brandy, Michelle, Dawn, Spring, Shontrell, Jessika and Michelle, Erika and Becky; great nephews, Mark, Marvin, Marlin, Brannon, BJ, Ryan, Jason, Nick, Matt, Dusty and Rick; and 46 great-great nieces and nephews.

Bobi was preceded in death by her parents, Ethel Evenson and Roy Baker; and sisters, Louise Skinner and Lois Taylor.
