Denny sentenced to 20 months plus probation for meth charge

Joscayne Denny of Box Elder will spend 20 months in prison and three years on probation for selling methamphetamine.

Chief U.S. District Judge Dana Christensen sentenced Denny last week in federal court in Great Falls. Denny, 33, had previously pleaded guilty to distributing methamphetamine.

According to a U.S. Attorney’s Office press release sent out Tuesday, Denny pleaded guilty to providing two girls with meth March 20, 2012, which they smoked out of a broken light bulb.

One of the girls was taken to Northern Montana Hospital after smoking the meth, and tests showed the presence of the substance in her system.
