Havre Police Department

A summons was issued to a 14-year-old for possession of an intoxicant, trespassing, theft of belongings from a motor vehicle, obstructing a peace officer and criminal contempt after officers investigated an 8:12 a.m. Monday call from 6th Avenue about someone who got into the calling party’s truck.

Officers investigated a 10:15 a.m. Monday complaint from Montana Avenue about a possible temporary restraining order violation.

Officers investigated vandalised trucks after a 10:30 a.m. Monday call from a U.S. Highway 2 business.

Officers investigated a 10:34 a.m. Monday complaint from the Atrium Mall about someone possibly listening to the calling party’s conversations and meetings.

———

Officers investigated a truck that sideswiped a car after receiving a 10:59 a.m. call from 1st Street.

———

Officers issued summons to two juveniles and arrested one of them and took him or her to Great Falls after responding to a 12:26 p.m. Monday call from Havre High School. The police department said no other information was available because they were not done filing it.

Officers investigated a 2:15 p.m. Monday report from Montana State University-Northern about a stolen bicycle.

Officers investigated a 5:35 p.m. Monday call from 10 Street West about a man lying in the parking lot of an apartment complex, beaten up and bloody.

Officers investigated a two-vehicle, noninjury car crash at 6:53 p.m. Monday at a 1st Street business.

———

Officers investigated an 8:13 p.m. Monday complaint from 3rd Street about a man yelling obscenities at the calling party.

———

A 10:17 p.m. Monday call from 9th Avenue about the calling party’s son leaving the house at 6:30 and had not come home yet was investigated.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated an 11:04 a.m. Monday call from a U.S. Highway 2 business about a credit card that had been opened in the calling party’s name.

A warrant was served to a 46-year-old Box Elder woman at the Hill County Detention Center for outstanding state district court warrants at 11:34 a.m. Monday.

———

Deputies issued a summons to a 31-year-old Havre woman for shoplifting after investigating a 5:46 p.m. Monday call from a U.S. Highway 2 business.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to five calls Monday and one this morning. Firefighters responded to 6:30 p.m. Monday call from the Zero Block of 1st Street West about a fallen power line that turned out to be a low-voltage phone line that was not sparking. A false alarm at 7:36 a.m. Tuesday at the 400 Block of 3rd Street was investigated by firefighters as well.

A boy was born to Suzanne Quincy and Beau Monteau of Hays Sept. 16, 2013.

Animal Shelter

A female black-and-white mix-breed dog was placed in the shelter Sept. 16.

A male golden retriever was placed in the shelter Sept. 12.

A female brown and white pit bull was placed in the shelter Sept. 7.

A male tan pit mix was placed in the shelter Sept. 12.

———

A female black, white and grey kitten was placed in the shelter Sept. 14.
