Garilee Henderson

Garilee Henderson, 31, of Rocky Boy, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2013, due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.  Wake services will be held beginning at 6 p.m. Thursday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church and will continue until her funeral service which will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5.  Burial will follow in Rocky Boy Cemetery.   `Garilee was born in Havre on June 21, 1982, to Frank and Sybil (Cole) Henderson. She was raised at Rocky Boy, attending school there. Following her high school graduation, she attended Stone Child College to obtain the required training to allow her to become a teacher’s aide at Headstart, and she worked there for some time.

  Garilee enjoyed horses, caring for her nieces and nephews, spending time with friends and family, playing machines, and watching movies, but her son was the light of her life.

  Garilee was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Joseph and Mary Jane Henderson, James and Florence Monteau, Bernard and Margaret Montes; her grandfather, Garry Adams; and her uncle, Adrian Montes.

  She is survived by her son, Brennan Russette; her parents, Frank and Sybil Henderson; her brothers, Troy (Michelle) and Cole Henderson; her sisters, Frankie and Lisa (Mike) Henderson; her grandparents, George and Carole Henderson, Rosetta Montes, and Billy Cole; her godchild, Cree Dance Adams; her aunts, Mindy Henderson (Melvin Morsette Jr.), Crystal Cole (Mark Simonson) and Stormy (Bryant) Eagleman; her uncles, Jesse (Raylynn) Henderson, George “J.O.” (Lori) Henderson Jr. and Scott (Tracy) Henderson; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other beloved relatives and friends.
