Naomi L. Wells

GREAT FALLS — Naomi L. Wells, 39, of Great Falls, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2013, at her residence. Wake services will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 7, 2013, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Rocky Boy.  Rosary services will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 7, 2013, at St. Mary’s, and traditional funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013, also at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with services and arrangements, and you can leave your memories and/or condolences at http://www.hollandbonine.com.

Naomi was born in Havre on Aug. 24, 1974, to Allen Nault and Shirley Ann Wells. Soon after birth, her mother married Pete Swan, and Pete raised Naomi as his own. Naomi was raised in Havre, attending school there. Following her high school years, she had her daughter Alexis. A few years later, she married Jathan Moreno, Sr., and the couple’s union was blessed with two sons. They were later divorced, and Naomi finished raising her children on her own. As an adult, Naomi traveled, finally settling in Seattle, Wash., for most of her adult life. She returned to Montana in 2008, settling in Great Falls.

Naomi enjoyed camping, fishing, swimming, watching movies, listening to all kinds of music, recounting family memories, and watching her soap operas, but most of all, she loved to spend her time with her family, especially her children and grandchild.

Naomi was preceded in death by her dad Pete Swan; her mom, Shirley Ann Swan; her sister Carrie Baker; and her niece Felony Swan.

She is survived by her children, Alexis “Dawn” Wells of Federal Way, Wash., and Antonio and Jathan Moreno, Jr., both of Great Falls; her grandson Zephaniah Navoni of Federal Way, Wash .; her brothers, Thomas Swan, Jesse Wells, and Terrance Wells, all of Great Falls, and Dustin Wells of Bozeman; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other beloved family members.
