Hi-Line Athletes of the Week

Haley Ohm, HHS Cross Country

Havre High senior Haley Ohm has only been running cross country for a little over two months now. But she's certainly had a bright impact on the Blue Pony girls team. Ohm placed fourth at this past Saturday's Central A Divisional race in Bozeman, finishing the run in a time of 20:27.96. Ohm's time was part of an outstanding performance by the HHS girls, as the Ponies captured the Central A team title. Ohm, who also excels in basketball and track and field, will now set her sights on the Class A state meet this Saturday in Missoula.

Will Ketchum, Box Elder Football

The Box Elder Bears have suffered some heartbreaking losses this season in Six-Man football, and they did again when they were beaten by Valier in the final seconds last Tuesday. But a big bright spot for the Bears has been senior wide receiver Will Ketchum. Against Valier, Ketchum caught three TD passes, covering 13, 58 and 52 yards, helping Box Elder pull off a near-upset. Ketchum is the leading receiver for the Bears this season, while he also shines in track and field, and plays basketball in the winter.
