Havre Police Department

Officers investigated a 9:58 a.m. Monday complaint at the police station about someone’s failure to register as a violent offender.

A 36-year-old Havre man was arrested on two state district court warrants after he turned himself in at a 4th Avenue law office at 10:39 a.m. Monday.

———

Officers investigated a 2:45 p.m. Monday call from Smithville Road about the theft of fencing from a rental property.

———

Officers investigated a 2:58 p.m. Monday request for assistance from Child Protective Services at the police department.

———

Officers investigated a 3:13 p.m. Monday call from Havre High School about vandalism.

———

A 49-year-old Havre man was arrested for violation of probation after officers investigated a 10:35 p.m. Monday call from Washington Avenue about a man in a red coat trying to break into the calling party’s residence.

———

A 33-year-old Havre woman was arrested for a suspended or revoked driver’s license at a 12:33 a.m. Tuesday motor vehicle stop on 4th Street.

———

A 19-year-old Havre man was arrested for criminal contempt at 8 a.m. Tuesday at the police station for a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation.

———

Officers investigated a 10:57 a.m. Tuesday call from 6th Street about the back license plate of the calling party’s van missing.

———

Officers investigated an 11:05 a.m. Tuesday call from 6th Street about a Chevrolet truck that was vandalised sometime Monday.

———

Officers investigated a 3:12 p.m. Tuesday call from a 2nd Street Northeast residence about a stolen car battery.

———

A 32-year-old Havre man was arrested on state district court warrants after officers saw the man walking down the street at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday on 2nd Street.

———

A 17-year-old boy was arrested for negligent arson, partner or family member assault, criminal contempt, possession of an intoxicant and criminal mischief after officers investigated a 2:18 a.m. Wednesday call from Bonine Drive about a possible disturbance and fire.

———

Officers investigated a 10:55 a.m. Wednesday complaint at the police station about fake mail.

———

Officers investigated a 3:12 p.m. Wednesday call from the Havre area about a camera stolen out of the calling party’s car.

———

The Havre Police assisted another agency in making two arrests at 4:21 p.m. Wednesday.

———

Prescription drugs were dropped off at the police department at 6:28 p.m. Wednesday as part of Operation Medicine Cabinet, a program designed to help people get rid of expired prescription drugs at the police station.

———

A 31-year-old Box Elder man was arrested for assault with a weapon and disorderly conduct after officers investigated a 10:58 p.m. call from a 2nd Street business in which the calling party stated a man tried to stab him.

———

Officers investigated a 10:55 p.m. Wednesday call from 10th Street West about a stolen vehicle.

———

An 11:49 p.m. Wednesday call from Sage Brush Drive in which the calling party said someone had been in his house and his wallet was missing was investigated.

———

Officers investigated a 12:24 a.m. Thursday call from a 3rd Street business about a robbery.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies were unable to find a red car said to be going in and out of the ditch, driven by a possibly drunk driver, reported in a 10:31 a.m. Monday call from U.S. Highway 2 in Chinook.

An 11:21 a.m. Monday complaint from 5th Avenue in Gildford about a possibly intoxicated driver in a white Ford pickup with Wyoming plates weaving and speeding up was referred to another agency.

———

A summons was issued to a 44-year-old Havre woman for the sale of dangerous drugs after deputies investigated a 4:49 p.m. call from the Havre Police Department for an Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearm investigation.

———

Deputies served a warrant to a 19-year-old Fort Belknap man at 3:29 p.m. Wednesday at the Hill County Detention Center on charges of reckless driving, a headlamp violation, motor vehicle theft, fleeing a peace officer, criminal endangerment, assaulting a peace officer, driving under the influence, speeding and possession of dangerous drugs.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Monday. Firefighters responded to an 8:13 a.m. Monday call for the 4000 Block of Post Road outside to put out a fire in a wood pile. It was extinguished and caused no damage.

Emergency medical personnel responded to five calls Tuesday. Firefighters responded to a 2:18 a.m. Wednesday call about a car fire on Bonine Drive. The car was operational, the fire cost approximately $3,000 in damages and a 17-year-old is in custody.

———

Emergency medical personnel responded to three medical calls Wednesday.

Animal Shelter

A black and white male Aussie-mix puppy was placed in the shelter Oct. 4.

A brown and white male mix-breed puppy Oct. 13.

———

A black female cat was placed in the shelter Oct. 16

———

A black and white male pug was placed in the shelter Oct. 18.

———

A tan and white male pit bull was placed in the shelter Oct. 21.

A boy was born to Leena Healy and Niles Stiffarm of Havre Oct. 21, 2013.

A girl was born to Kea and Theron Oates of Rocky Boy Oct. 21, 2013.

———
