Havre Police Department

Officers responded to a 10:14 a.m. Friday call from a 1st Street business about suspicious guys who were walking around the casino.

A 43-year-old Havre man and a 54-year-old Havre man were both arrested for probation violation after officers assisted another agency at 9:11 p.m. Friday on 12th Avenue.

A 37-year-old Havre woman was arrested for a suspended or revoked driver’s license, criminal contempt and five counts of outstanding city court warrants at a motor vehicle stop on 1st Street 9:51 p.m. Friday.

———

A 38-year-old Havre man was arrested for aggravated assault and partner or family member assault after officers responded to a 1:27 a.m. Saturday call from a 9th Avenue business.

———

A 42-year-old Havre woman was arrested for partner or family member assault and outstanding state district court warrants after officers responded to a 2:34 a.m. Saturday call from a 4th Street apartment complex about a woman asking for help getting to a women’s shelter and saying her nose was bleeding.

———

A 22-year-old Poplar man was arrested for disorderly conduct after officers responded to a 4:29 a.m. Saturday call from a 10th Street West apartment complex about people fighting downstairs.

———

Officers investigated a 7:52 a.m. Saturday call from Jefferson Avenue about a vehicular hit and run.

A 40-year-old Havre man was issued a summons for careless driving, failure to stop or remain at an injury accident and failure to give notice of an accident after officers responded to an 8:03 a.m. Saturday call from 17th Street about a vehicle stuck in a water channel.

Officers investigated a 9 a.m. Saturday call from 6th Street about white paint on a vehicle.

Officers investigated a 2:29 p.m. Saturday complaint at the police department about stolen plates.

Officers investigated a 5:44 p.m. Saturday call from a 1st Street West business about a stolen iPhone.

Officers investigated a 7:27 p.m. Saturday cal from the hospital about someone who wanted to report an assault.

Officers investigated a 12:57 a.m. Sunday call from a 1st Street West business about two men who left without paying for their food and took off in a white Mustang.

———

A 29-year-old Illinois man was arrested for disorderly conduct at 1:35 a.m. Sunday at a 1st Street West establishment.

———

A summons was issued to a 19-year-old Chinook boy for driving under the influence and purchase or possession of an intoxicant at a motor vehicle stop on 13th Street at 2:58 a.m. Sunday.

———

A 20-year-old Havre woman was arrested for criminal contempt after a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation at the police department at 8:06 a.m. Sunday.

Officers investigated a 9:06 a.m. Sunday call from 10th Street West about a possible break-in.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated an 11:44 p.m. Sunday call from a U.S. Highway 2 South business about an individual who had been run over by a vehicle.

———

A 30-year-old Box Elder man was arrested for criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and outstanding justice court warrants after deputies responded to a 12:40 p.m. Friday call from a U.S. Highway 2 business about a drunk man.

———

Deputies investigated an 8:51 a.m. Saturday call about fuel from a semi-truck on Clear Creek Road.

———

A 30-year-old Box Elder woman was arrested for shoplifting after deputies received a 3:03 p.m. call from a U.S. Highway 2 business.

———

A summons was issued to a 20-year-old Havre boy for minor in possession of an intoxicant at a 1:10 a.m. Sunday motor vehicle stop on the road headed to the lower dam area.

———

A 45-year-old Box Elder man was arrested for disorderly conduct at 1:14 p.m. Sunday at a U.S. Highway 2 business.

———

Summonses were issued to a 18-year-old Box Elder girl and a 20-year-old Box Elder girl for possession of intoxicants after deputies assisted another agency at the Box Elder School area.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Friday, five calls Saturday, five calls Sunday and one call this morning.

Firefighter responded to 12:52 p.m. Friday call to a fire at a motor vehicle crash 13 miles north on Wild Horse Road.

———

Firefighters responded to a 5:32 p.m. Saturday call from employees at a store on 600 Block of 1st Street West who thought they could smell gas. Firefighters and NorthWest Energy could not find anything.

———

Firefighters responded to a 3:24 p.m. Sunday call to the 600 Block of 1st Street about a broken gas line that was leaking. NorthWest Energy was called, they shut it down and a private contractor was called to fix the break.

A brown and white male mix-breed puppy was placed in the shelter Oct. 13.

A black female cat was placed in the shelter Oct. 16.

A black and white male pug was placed in the shelter Oct. 18.

A tan and white male pit-mix was placed in the shelter Oct. 21.

A male black lab puppy was placed in the shelter Oct. 26.

A black and tan male cat was placed in the shelter Oct. 27.

A tan female small mix-breed dog was placed in the shelter Oct. 28.

Births

A boy was born to Oshawna Sorrell and Johnny Manuel of Hays Oct. 25, 2013.
