Officers investigated a motor vehicle crash on 2nd Street at 1:08 p.m. Thursday, where a blue pickup truck backed into a black SUV and took off.

A 1:57 p.m. Thursday call from Rich Street West about an employee that did not come home was investigated.

A noninjury motor vehicle crash between 4th and 3rd Avenue on 10th Street was investigated Thursday at 5:53 p.m.

A summons was issued to a dog owner after the dog almost attacked an officer at the police station at 6:50 p.m. Thursday.

A 43-year-old Hinsdale woman was arrested for partner or family member assault, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief after officers responded to a 9:41 p.m. Thursday call from a U.S. Highway 2 establishment.

Officers investigated an 11:06 p.m. Thursday call from a 1st Street establishment about an older woman who needed to be removed from the bar.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies issued a summons to someone after investigating a 10:58 a.m. Thursday call about a man beating a dog’s head on the curb of the Milk River Bridge.

A 6:04 p.m. Thursday call from Laredo Road about the calling party’s daughter getting out of hand was investigated.

———

A 9:26 p.m. Thursday call from the Verizon Wireless Store about the calling party stating someone else is using his Social Security number.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to five calls Thursday.

to the guy who beat the dogs head at the bridge!!! You better have gotten more then just a slap on the wrist. COME ON law enforcement and our judges we need to be better at protecting our dogs against animal cruelty. Not just cant do anything because we are a small town. Good grief! Dirty dirty old man!!!
