Havre Police Department

Officers investigated a 6:17 a.m. Tuesday call from a 1st Street West business about a guest’s vehicle being vandalized.

A 23-year-old Havre man was issued a summons for criminal mischief after officers responded to an 8:58 a.m. Tuesday from a 1st Street West business about vandalism to a vehicle in the business’ parking lot.

Officers investigated a 12:25 p.m. Tuesday call from Montana State University-Northern reporting a theft.

A 27-year-old Have man was issued a summons for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle after officers responded to a 12:57 p.m. Tuesday call from 2nd Street West about a vehicle being taken without permission.

A two-vehicle, noninjury motor vehicle crash was investigated after officers received a 3:33 p.m. Tuesday call from 5th Street and 4th Avenue.

Officers issues a summons at a 10:21 p.m. Tuesday motor vehicle stop on 14th Avenue. No other information was given.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

A 9:07 a.m. Tuesday call from U.S. Highway 87 West about a business broken into over the weekend.

Deputies served a 31-year-old Rocky Boy man and inmate of the Hill County Detention Center an outstanding Justice or City court warrant and a state District Court warrant at 11:50 a.m. Tuesday.

A call about shoplifting was investigated after a 6:47 p.m. Tuesday call from a U.S. Highway 2 West business.

Deputies served a 42-year-old Great Falls man and inmate at the HCDT an outstanding Justice or City court warrant at 9:04 p.m. Tuesday.

Deputies issued a summons to someone at a motor vehicle stop on 1st Street at 11:18. No other information was given.

A black female cat was placed in the shelter Oct. 16.
