Lloyd W. Hadford

Lloyd W. Hadford, 94, of Joplin, a retired Hi-Line farmer who served in the U. S. Army during World War II and loved to spend time visiting with old friends, died Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 8, 2014, at the Liberty Medical Center in Chester.

His funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, at Bethel Lutheran Church in Joplin.  Burial with military rites will be at the Joplin Cemetery. A reception will follow at Kjos Hall. 

Arrangements are by Rockman Funeral Chapel in Chester. Memorials may be given to the Liberty Medical Center or donor's choice.

Lloyd is survived by six nephews and nieces and three step-children. He was preceded in death by his parents; three siblings; and his wife, Alma.
