District 9C Update: Bears, Knights victorious

The first session of the 2014 District 9C tournament saw the Box Elder girls beat the Turner Tornadoes 76-30 and the North Star boys take down Turner 51-42 Wednesday afternoon at the Havre High gymnasium.

The Bears advanced to play top-seeded Chinook in Thursday's first semifinal at 1 p.m., while the Knights will play No. 1 seed Box Elder in the boys semifinal at 2:30 p.m. Thursday. The Turner girls will play in a loser-out game Friday at 6:30 p.m. followed by the Turner boys in a loser-out game at 8 p.m. Friday night.
