Ice Hawks drop two in Great Falls

The Havre Ice Hawks high school hockey team closed out the regular season with a pair of games in Great Falls this past weekend.

Unfortunately, Havre ended its season with two tough losses.

Friday night, the Ice Hawks fell to Great Falls 8-1. Havre's only goal was scored by Dustin Armstrong off of a Ned Malone assist. Havre goalie Josh Emge did stop 35 shots on goal, while the Ice Hawks committed just three penalties.

Havre also dropped a tough game to Great Falls Saturday, this time 6-1. Justin Miller scored Havre's lone goal, coming on assists by Malone and Kyle Konesky. Emge saved 44 shots, while Havre committed just two penalties.

The Ice Hawks will now prepare of the Montana State High School Hockey Tournament, which runs Friday through Sunday in Billings.

In round-robin play, Havre is scheduled to take on Billings, Great Falls and Flathead Friday through Saturday.
