Officers investigated a 7:29 a.m. Wednesday call from 1st Avenue about the calling party’s windshield being busted.

Officers investigated a 12:13 p.m. Wednesday call from 4th Street about the calling party receiving a tax return from a different state and suspecting someone used her husband’s Social Security Number.

Officers investigated a 12:26 p.m. Wednesday call from 8th Avenue about the calling party’s boyfriend pushing her onto a couch, then kicking her out of an apartment and not letting her back in.

Officers investigated a 1:23 p.m. Wednesday call from Wilson Avenue about things written on the back window of the calling party’s car.

Officers investigated a 1:40 p.m. Wednesday call from 1st Street Northeast about a vehicular hit and run.

Doreen Ann Sunchild, 59, of Box Elder was arrested on a charge of driving with no insurance and on a Justice or City court warrant after an officer made a motor vehicle stop at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday on 13th Street West.

Officers investigated a 4:07 p.m. Wednesday call from 1st Street about a man destroying the calling party’s apartment.

Officers investigated a 4:10 p.m. Wednesday call from 3rd Street about the calling party’s place being destroyed and movies being taken.

Officers investigated a 12:04 a.m. call this morning from a 1st Street West business about a bike that had been sitting in front of the building for a few days.

Two 16-year-olds and two 17-year-olds were issued summonses on charges of criminal mischief and juvenile curfew violations after an officer made a motor vehicle stop at 12:57 a.m. this morning on 11th Street West.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated an 11:01 a.m. Wednesday call from 5th Street East about a PayPal scam.

A deputy issued a summons to someone after investigating a 9:38 p.m. Wednesday call from a U.S. Highway 2 business about a shoplifter.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Wednesday.

Firefighters were called to the 10 Block of 13th Street at 10:32 a.m. Wednesday to address a natural gas leak caused by construction workers.

———

Firefighters were called to the 800 Block of 1st Avenue at 10:39 a.m. Wednesday to investigate smoke in an attic that turned out to be residual heat from a previous fire.

———

Firefighters were called to the 10 Block of 3rd Street West at 4:16 p.m. Wednesday to address an alarm activation caused by burnt food.

Births

A boy was born to Eva Rae Messerly and Alton Matthews of Hogeland on July 8, 2014.
