Havre Police Department

Officers investigated an 11:32 a.m. Friday call from 10th Street about vandalism to the calling party’s rock wall in the alley.

Tyler Kim Theboy, 23, of Havre was issued a summons on a charge of having an open container in a motor vehicle on a highway after an officer made a motor vehicle stop at 1:48 a.m. Saturday on 1st Street West.

Officers investigated an 8:05 a.m. Saturday 24/7 Sobriety Program violation at the police station.

Cholan Michael Kinholt, 31, of Havre was arrested on a charge on criminal contempt after officers responded to a 3:08 p.m. Saturday call from a U.S. Highway 2 East business.

Jeffery Scott Sprinkle, 29, of Havre was issued a summons on a charge of reckless driving after officers responded to a 5:51 p.m. Saturday call from 1st Avenue.

James Dean Stump, 27, of Box Elder and Joseph Allen Stump, 27, of Havre were arrested on charges of disorderly conduct after officers responded to a 9:01 p.m. Saturday call from 10th Avenue about two drunk men fighting.

A 17-year-old was arrested on a charge of purchase or possession of an intoxicant by a minor after officers responded to a 6:49 a.m. Sunday call from a 1st Street business about an assault.

Officers investigated an 11:03 a.m. Sunday call from 18th Street about the calling party’s boyfriend grabbing her while she is six months pregnant and he worries that he might come back.

A 15-year-old was issued a summons on charges of purchasing or possessing an intoxicant by a minor and juvenile curfew violations after officers responded to a 1:37 a.m. call this morning from an 11th Street West business.

A 16-year-old was issued a summons on a charge of juvenile curfew violations after officers responded to a 3:47 a.m. call this morning from 1st Street Northeast about the calling party’s daughter coming home drunk and trying to  fight her.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Joseph Young Lodgepole, 34, of Box Elder was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after deputies served it to him at 6:12 p.m. Friday at the Great Northern Fairgrounds.

Leann Ahenakew Gardipee, 37, of Box Elder was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after a deputy made a motor vehicle stop at 7:36 p.m. Friday on Old Post Road.

Megan Theresa Morsette, 23, of Box Elder was arrested on a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license and on a Justice or City court warrant after a deputy made a motor vehicle stop at 8:03 p.m. Saturday on Main Street in Box Elder.

———

Linda Foster of Rudyard was issued a summons on charges of vicious dog and dog running at large after deputies responded to a 5:41 a.m. Sunday call from 1st Street Northeast in Rudyard about the calling party’s neighbor’s dog killing her ducks.

Deputies investigated a 7:51 p.m. Sunday call from Northern Montana Hospital about a woman being bitten by a kitten.

Roger John Brough, 53, of Havre was issued a summons on a charge of assault and Richard James Lieberg, 37, of Havre was issued a summons on a charge of disorderly conduct after deputies initiated an investigation of a disturbance at the beer garden of the Great Northern Fairgrounds at 7:55 p.m. Sunday.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to five calls Friday, one call Saturday and five Sunday.

Firefighters were called to the 8000 Block of Highway 2 West at 7:31 p.m. Friday to address a hay baler and grass that was burning. The baler had a bearing go out, overheating the bail inside and the bail caught fire. The fire dealt about $30,000 worth of damage.

Firefighters were called to the 8000 Block of Highway 2 West at 2:40 p.m. Saturday to put out a fire that rekindled and started a small grass fire.

Animal Shelter

A male golden retriever mix was placed in the shelter June 20, a black male cat with a white tip on its tail June 25, a black and white male pit bull mix June 27, a male black Labrador July 4, two black and white female cats July 15, a gray and white female cat July 16, a white, gray and orange female cat July 16, and a white and gray female cat July 20.
