Havre's Mazurkiewicz wins MMA fight in Washington

Former Havre Blue Pony and University of Great Falls wrestler Myles Mazurkiewicz is starting to make a name for himself on the Mixed Martial Arts scene.

After winning his debut fight as a professional, Mazurkiewicz was once again victorious over the weekend inside the Octagon.

Mazurkiewicz participated in 221 Industries CWC (Cage Warrior Combat) and IFC (Intense Cage Fighting) Team Montana vs Team Washington event held Saturday night in Kingston, Washington. The event took place at Point Casino, with plenty of cage bouts on the card.

Among those bouts was Mazurkiewicz’ fight with Steve Cann. In what was a tough fight, Mazurkiewicz scored a unanimous-decision victory, which kept him undefeated as a professional MMA fighter.

Back in April, Mazurkiewicz beat Great Falls fighter Joe McMillen in a submission win in what was his first fight as a professional.
