Havre Police Department

Daniel Jones Stanley, 71, of Box Elder was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct after officers responded to a 5:19 p.m. Wednesday call from Pepin Park on 7th Avenue about a man sleeping or passed out.

Officer investigated a 5:46 p.m. Wednesday call from 1st Street Northeast about the calling party’s ex-boyfriend breaking out the windows in her apartment two weeks ago and stealing her debit card.

Officers investigated a 9 p.m. Wednesday call from 14th Street West about a jogging stroller that was left in front of the calling party’s house when he got home from work.

Two 15-year-old Havre girls and a 13-year-old Havre boy were issued summonses on charges of juvenile curfew violations after officers responded to a 1:35 a.m. call this morning from 9th Street about kids playing “ding dong ditch.”

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Alonzo Eugene Wilson, Jr. of Riverside, California, was issued a summons on a charge of trespassing after deputies investigated a 3:25 p.m. Wednesday call from BNSF about someone riding the train with two dogs.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Wednesday.

Firefighters were called to 30 miles north of Havre at 1:40 p.m. Wednesday to aid Wild Horse Fire Department to put out several small grass fires believed to be caused by lightning strikes.

Firefighters were called to the 3100 Block of Old Post Road at 3:53 a.m. this morning to put out a power pole fire that NorthWestern Energy could not find the cause of.

Animal Shelter

A black and white male pit bull mix was placed in the shelter June 27, a male black Labrador July 4 and a black male cat July 20.
