Havre Police Department

Officers investigated a 2:41 p.m. Thursday call from 9th Avenue about checks stolen from the calling party’s residence.

Cory John Habeger, 27, of Havre was arrested on a state District Court warrant after an officer served it to him at 4:52 p.m. Thursday at the police station.

Officers investigated a 5:01 p.m. Thursday call from Northern Montana Hospital about the calling party’s wallet and purse being stolen from her vehicle.

A 17-year-old was issued a summons on a charge of theft after officers responded to an 8:12 p.m. Thursday call from a 1st Street business about a shoplifter.

James Lawrence Daychild, 42, of Havre was arrested on charges of assault and two counts of criminal contempt and Tracy Anita Lamere, 48, of Box Elder was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and obstructing a peace officer after officers responded to an 8:38 p.m. Thursday call from 2nd Street Northeast about the calling party stating her neighbor was hit in the head by a man and wanted to speak to an officer.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Someone was arrested at 5:10 p.m. Thursday at the Bitterroot Trailer Court. No other information was given.

Deputies investigated a 7 p.m. Thursday call from a U.S. Highway 2 West business about the calling party being unsure if she left her wallet at the business the day prior or if it was stolen.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to four calls Thursday.

Firefighters were called to the 700 Block of 1st Street West at 9:54 a.m. Thursday to address a gas smell.
