Charter has another blackout

The Havre area experienced another blackout in Charter Communications services Monday evening.

Jack Hardy, the senior manager of communications for Charter, said it was around 5 p.m. Monday technicians noticed there was an error in the system.

They responded immediately and found that a piece of equipment had malfunctioned.

They got it back up and running just before 9 p.m., Hardy said.

The malfunction took out everything, Internet, cable and telephones.

“The good news is they diagnosed it quickly and fixed it,” Hardy said.

I think Charter needs to google the words quick, and immediate before they use them in a statement. Their service rivals commercial airlines when it comes to levels of sucktitude.

Charter has the worst service and are seemingly not concerned about small town USA. Lots of hype on the tv, never mind it doesn't pertain to Havre and probably never will! This service is down frequently, what are they talking about with the millions of dollar upgrades, etc...where was that at, not Havre. I wish someone would care about the residents of small towns as much as they care about us paying our bill. Not a happy camper, again!

The issue started actually mid afternoon 18 AUG 2014. Slow internet and severe phone issues. Losing phone service almost once a month can be difficult for a service based business. Then the worst of is your business ends up with bad reviews online because of it.
