Water main flushing set to begin in Havre April 21

To maintain the quality of drinking water in Havre, Public Works periodically needs to flush the water system through city hydrants.

Tuesday through Thursday, the week of April 21, Havre Fire Department personnel will be flushing hydrants from 8:30 a.m to 3 p.m. starting at the water plant and moving east on 1st Street.

While flushing is occurring in the neighborhood, residents may have low water pressure or discolored water. If the water is discolored, people may want to avoid washing clothes. When flushing is finished, people can run cold water until clear.
