Stone Child College Graduation set for May 8

Stone Child College’s 2015 graduation is set to take place Friday, May 8 at 1 p.m. at the Little Bear Gymnasium.

Gaile Torres, of the SCC registrar, said about 36 students will be graduating this year.

“This is a two-year. A lot of them are transferring to different (colleges) to complete their four-year,” she said. “We’ve got a few students going to Salish Kootenai College, they’re a four-year now, and we’ve got a few going to Missoula. A couple of them are going to finish up in Havre — I’ve got two possibly going to Bozeman.”

Torres added that Father Peter Guthneck of St. Margaret Mary Parish will be speaking at this year’s graduation.

“Anybody can attend,” she said.
