Recently Fulfilled Needs

Dear My Neighbor in Need,

I am in need of a couple of chairs or a recliner. I recently moved into my own place and have very little furniture. I have to either sit on the bed in the other room or directly on the floor. I do have a job but it is only part-time and for low wages. I would appreciate any help that you might provide. Thank you.

My Neighbor in Need response:

“We spoke with the neighbor in need and verified her situation. Her request was approved and posted on the website: http://www.myneighborinneed.org. In just over a week, a kind donor contacted us and provided a clean, used recliner. It was delivered and the neighbor in need was thrilled! A You Rock award goes out to the kind donor.”

Dear My Neighbor in Need,

I am an elderly lady who is in need of help with a motel stay in Great Falls for two nights while I have eye surgery. I have enough money to pay for the fuel to get there and back, but with my limited income, I cannot afford $200 or more for the lodging. Thank you very much.

My Neighbor in Need response:

We spoke with the Neighbor in Need and because of the nature of this request we asked her to contact her doctor’s office and have them call us for verification. We received the verification and her need request was posted. The good news is, we work with The Mid-Town Motel in Downtown Great Falls and the owner offered us a deeply discounted rate of $100. Her need was posted and a caring donor made a donation of $50 towardsthis need. My Neighbor in Need paid the remaining balance and she was able to have her need fulfilled. A big thank you goes out to the donor and to the Mid-Town Motel.

Dear My Neighbor in Need,

I need your help. I am in need of pet food for my dog and cat. I am on a low, fixed income and I have run out of money. I get my social security check in about a week, but between my medicine and food for myself, I do not have any money to buy pet food. I heard about your Pet Food Pantry so I was hoping that I might be able to get some assistance. Thank you.

My Neighbor in Need response:

Thanks to our friends at Walmart, we were able to provide several bags of pet food for our furry friends in need. Thank you Wal-Mart!

Then click on the city in which you are interested such as Havre or Chinook, then click on the Current Needs tab. Find a need request and click on the Fulfill This Need button. Or you can call 406-301-3919 for Havre or 406-357-8080 for Chinook and tell us how you would like to help. Financial need donations are made directly to the business that will fulfill the need.
