Officers investigated an 8:35 a.m. call Wednesday from a 2nd Street West business reporting someone had broken into a Dodge pickup truck and stolen the stereo.

Officers investigated a report at the police station at 10 a.m. Wednesday that a woman’s husband had been gone for two days.

A caller reported Wednesday at 3:53 p.m. that his grandson had found a suspicious note on 5th Avenue. Officers investigated.

Orin Tyler Alexander, 39, of Box Elder was arrested on a charge of open container violation at Pepin Park, after an officer stopped to assist a citizen at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday.

Officers investigated a possible temporary restraining order violation on 2nd Street at 7:58 p.m. Wednesday.

An arrest on a warrant was made at the police station at 8:08 p.m. Wednesday, but no further information was provided.

Following up on a 10:59 p.m. Wednesday report of a man passed out by the shrubs and garbage cans at a 4th Street residence, officers made an arrest, but no further details were provided.

Officers responding to a disturbance at a 1st Street establishment at 1:52 a.m. today made two arrests, but no further details were provided.

Elijah Blu Eagleman, 27, of Havre was arrested on charges of assault, disorderly conduct, criminal contempt and resisting arrest after a 2nd Street caller reported an assault at 3:03 a.m. today.

At 3:22 a.m. today officers responded to another call from the 2nd Street address in the previous report and arrested Ian Blaine Mccarty, 35, of Havre on charges of assault with a weapon, possession of drug paraphernalia, assault of a minor, criminal contempt and criminal mischief.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated a 10:49 a.m. Wednesday report from Road 110 South of theft, forgery or fraud.

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Wednesday.

Fire crews responded to a fire call at 7:39 p.m. on the 700 Block of 5th Avenue Wednesday. Officials said the call was prompted by a report of a gas leak. NorthWestern Energy came to the scene and replaced the cracked nut on the gas meter.

A girl was born Aug. 4, 2015, to Curry and Monty Small of Havre.
