Border Patrol HQ set to reopen

Border Patrol administrative operations will be ready to resume at the Havre Sector Headquarters the week of April 11.

Regional Public Affairs Officer Sally Mayberry said the Havre Sector Headquarters and the annex are free of lead.

“We’ve had confirmation samples come back and they’re below the regulatory standards,” Mayberry said.

Border Patrol personnel were moved out of the building early last month after testing indicated levels of lead surpassing what regulations allow.
