Letter to the Editor: Back pack stolen, $100 reward is offered

On Saturday, April 30, at approximately 6:30 p.m., an item was taken from the Duck Inn Restaurant. It was a blue and black Camelback 14er backpack.

While it is disheartening to accept the fact that a thief took it, what is more difficult to accept is that one of the backpack contents was a black and red journal filled with pictures and words.

Each entry was addressed to the backpack’s owner’s goddaughter who was to receive all of journals after the owner had passed away.

Other content of the backpack can be replaced, the journal cannot.
