Kalynne was born on Feb. 18, 1981, in Mobridge, South Dakota, to James Main Jr. and Vernie Healy. Growing up, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She attended grade school and high school in Harlem, Montana, and attended Chemawa Indian boarding school in Salem, Oregon.

Kalynne always had a quiet but spunky personality. Her smile would light up the room. She lived life to the fullest and wouldn't let a moment pass her by. In 1998, Kalynne met Robert Brown Jr., and the couple later had two children, Rosa and James. They later relocated to Seattle, Washington, for six years, and then went their separate ways.

She then met Gregory Paris, and to this relationship two sons were born, Eric and Arin Healy-Paris. While in Seattle, Kalynne finished her GED and successfully completed CNA courses. She returned home to Fort Belknap in April 2016, where she spent the remainder of her time with her mother; sister, two sons, Eric and Arin; brothers, cousins, aunts, uncle, grandmother and friends both old and new.

Katy Rose's favorite pastimes were listening to music and spending time with and loving up her children.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents James "Jimmy" Healy Sr., Bernice (Perry) Clark, James Main Sr., and Vernie (Brisbo) Main; her brother, Eric Jones; and numerous other relatives of the Main, Healy, Perry, Brisbo and Morin families.

Katy Rose is survived by her parents, Vernie Healy (Kim Jones) and James Main Jr., all of Fort Belknap; her children, Rosa and James Brown, both of Seattle, Washington, and Eric and Arin Healy-Paris of Fort Belknap; her grandmother Helen Bell of Fort Belknap; her sister, Sheena Healy of Fort Belknap; her brothers, Brandon, Milo, Oliver, James Main III, William "Sprout" Gone and Rod Schaffer, all of Fort Belknap; and numerous beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.

Katy Rose is dearly loved and missed and will never be forgotten.
