The following cases were resolved in Hill County Justice Court by Judge Audrey Barger July 19-26.

Craig Azure, born in 1965, was fined $100 for truancy.

Sandy Azure, born in 1976, was fined $100 for truancy.

Ray Paul Helgeson, born in 1977, was given a deferred imposition of sentence and fined $100 for refusal to exhibit certification of inspection.

Michael J. Powell, born in 1983, was fined $250 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 days suspended and one credited, for driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked and was sentenced to 180 days in jail, 111 credited, for revocation of a suspended or deferred sentence.

Timothy R. Grant, no date of birth provided, was given a deferred imposition of sentence, fined $100 and ordered to pay $464.34 restitution for failing to validate tag.

Joseph Stanley Arkinson, born in 1965, pleaded guilty to negligent endangerment and and driving under the influence of any drug, first offense, no fines or sentences listed.

Jordan Nash Windyboy, born in 1983, was fined $200 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 176 days suspended, for driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. In a later case, Windyboy was fined $250 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days suspended, for failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, first offense.

John Eric Stiffarm, born in 1984, was fined $200 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 176 days suspended, for driving without a valid driver’s license.

Justin Ray Melby, born in 1979, was fined $250 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days suspended, for failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, first offense, and was fined $250 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 days suspended, for driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked.

Jason Tyler Allerdice, born in 1991, was fined $350 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days suspended, for failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, second offense, and was given a deferred imposition of sentence and fined $400 for criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jonathan Harold Thomas, born in 1983, was fined $100 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for criminal possession of drug paraphernalia and was fined $100 for throwing or depositing on a highway, refuse or injurious substance.

Mark Robert Hagenau, born in 1973, was given a deferred imposition of sentence and fined $100 for each of two charges: criminal possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal possession of marijuana, first offense.

Corey S. Davis, born in 1987, forfeited $120 bond for speeding, 100 mph in a 70 mph zone.

——

Judge Barger also dealt with 31 tickets resulting in fines of less than $100 or jail sentences of fewer than seven days, and she or the prosecution dismissed 16 charges. Barger transferred six citations to another court, issued one search warrant and held seven probable cause hearings for cases out of her jurisdiction. Additionally, one probation and parole violation went before the judge.
