Norman Garth Bell of Havre, 37, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after an officer made a a motor vehicle stop Thursday at 5:05 p.m. on a First Street West.

Mathew Miles Perkins of Havre, 19, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and a seat belt violation after an officer made a a motor vehicle stop Thursday at 8:06 p.m. on First Street West.

Officers investigated a motor vehicle crash after a caller off First Street West reported Thursday at 11:59 p.m. that a red car had struck a telephone pole.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated a vandalism report Thursday at 9:39 a.m. on Fifth Street North.

Deputies investigated a found property report after a caller from a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported Thursday at 12:37 p.m. that an older wedding ring set was found.

Animal Shelter

The animal shelter Thursday held a tan and white pitbull and a tiger-striped gray cat with five kittens.
