Obituary: Clinton J. Bacon

Clinton J. Bacon, Nimi Tik "Eagle That Lives on an Island," 46, passed away due to natural causes Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016, at Peace Hospice in Great Falls.

Wake services were at 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 19, 2016, and continued until his funeral, 11 a.m. today, Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2016, all at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church. Burial followed in the Rocky Boy Cemetery.

Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Clinton was born March 11, 1970, in Glasgow to Billy and Teresa (Stanley) Bacon. He was raised in Rocky Boy, attending school there.

Following his high school years, Clinton attended Stone Child College for a couple of years. He relocated to Great Falls to be near his dad in 2016.

Clinton enjoyed hunting and fishing, cutting wood with his dad, spending time with his family and friends, attending sweat lodge, picking medicine and listening to '80s rock.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Daniel Bacon and John Oxford, and his uncle Clifford Stanley.

Clinton is survived by his mother, Teresa Bacon of Rocky Boy; his father, Billy Bacon of Great Falls; his brothers, Carl Stanley of Rocky Boy and Gordon (Audrey Curley) Bacon of Great Falls; his sisters, Colleen Bacon of Great Falls, Roberta (Dana Ontiveros) Bacon and Rachel Bacon, all of Rocky Boy; and numerous beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
