Havre Police Department

Raven Ray Wolfgang Lanier, 19, of Havre was arrested on charges of assault with a weapon, nonaggravated partner or family member assault and violations of conditions of release Thursday at 10:42 a.m. at the police station.

Officers investigated a fraud report after someone reported a potential case of financial exploitation Thursday at 11:53 a.m.

A 12-year-old was issued a summons on a charge of criminal mischief  Thursday at 2:58 p.m. at Havre MIddle School.

Officers investigated an auto theft report after a Second Street caller reported Thursday at 10:42 p.m. that someone stole a 2009 Ford Explorer left warming up and unlocked.

Jason Paul Cloninger of Havre, 41, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge this morning at 2:13 at a First Street establishment.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Sheriff’s dispatch log recorded no arrests or investigations.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Thursday.

Fire crews responded to a 4:33 p.m. call on the 500 Block of First Avenue where a gas odor in an apartment was reported. Further investigation showed no problems.

Fire crews responded to a 2:20 a.m. call today on the 800 Block of 13th Street, where a furnace motor overheated and caused smoke and an odor. It was shut down and should be repaired.

A boy was born Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016, to Steven J. and Naomi Castillo of Havre.

A girl was born Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016, to Felicia Wood and Levi Gilmore of Dodson.

Animal Shelter

The animal shelter held Wednesday a brown female weimaraner-pit bull mix.

The animal shelter held a tiger-striped gray cat with five kittens, an orange cat, a tortie cat and a gray cat.
