Conservation district sets dinner

The Hill County Conservation District is holding its annual Legislative Dinner Wednesday, Oct. 26, at the Montana State University-Northern Student Union Building Ballroom. A no-host meet and mingle social hour will start at 5:30 p.m., followed by a prime rib buffet dinner at 6:30 p.m.

Cost for the dinner is $25 per person. Candidates for federal, state and local races have been invited to give short presentations, and the Hill County Conservation District Board will briefly outline their accomplishments in the past year and plans for the future.

Entertainment will round out the evening and will be provided by cowboy poets from Canada and Fred Liese from Turner.
