Officers investigated a theft report after a caller from Northern Montana Hospital caller reported Monday at 11 a.m. that the soda machine was broken into and money was missing.

Officers assisted a citizen after someone came to the police department Monday at 3:35 p.m. to ask to speak to an officer.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

The Sheriff’s office secretary is off for Election Day and no one was available to provide a dispatch log.  

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Monday.

Fire crews responded to a call this morning at 6:04 at the 1400 Block of U.S. Highway 2, where a false alarm was reported.

Animal Shelter

The animal shelter held this morning a brown female weimaraner-pit bull mix, a black and brown shepherd mix, a brown pitbull mix, a yellow Labrador-shepherd mix, a black pitbull mix, a tan pit bull-Labrador mix, a border collie, a pitbull-terrier mix and terrier puppy.

The animal shelter held this morning a tiger-striped gray cat, a 10-week-old orange kitten, two gray and brown 10-week-old kittens, a 3-month-old gray kitten, a black and white 1-year-old kitten, an orange kitten, a gray kitten, a gray adult tom cat, a long-haired cat, a black cat and a gray tiger-striped cat.
