Area gridders selected for Six-Man All-Star Game

Summer is a long way off, but when it comes, that means high school football all-star games. And several area gridders have been selected to play in the annual Six-Man All-Star game in June.

North Star's Keevan Borlaug and Cade Chvilicek, along with Big Sandy's Laurence Allderdice were named to Red Team, while will be coached by Hot Springs' Jim Lawson. All three players earned All-Conference honors this season, while Allderdice was named All-State. Box Elder's Lane Caplette and Lux Benson were also chosen as alternates for the game.

The 2017 Six-Man All-Star game will be played June 3 in Custer.
