The website http://www.myneighborinneed.org/havre provides local citizens a way to ask for help from their community and a way for the community to give back.

Current Needs

Neighbor in Need — An older disabled woman is in need of a love seat. Her apartment is rather small and cannot fit a standard size couch and her current love seat is falling apart and is causing her back pain. If you would like to help with this need you can either donate a gently used/clean love seat or you can make a donation of any amount up to $379 to My Neighbor in Need and we will purchase a new love seat for her. Neighbor in Need — An elderly veteran is in need of a gently used/clean full size sleep system (mattress and box spring) as he is currently sleeping on the floor. If you have a gently used full size sleep system and would like to donate it to this need, please call us at 406-750-2542. The identification number is: Havre #229. Thank you.

Neighbor in Need — A woman is in need of a gently used table and chairs for her apartment. She is currently sitting on the floor to eat her meals. If you have a gently used table and chairs and would like to help with this need, please call us at 406-750-2542. The identification number is: Havre #230. Thank you very much.

Neighbor in Need — An elderly woman is in need of a gently used vacuum to clean her home. If you have a gently used, working vacuum and would like to donate it to this need, please call us at 406-750-2542. The identification number is: Havre #232. Thank you so much.

People who would like to help can visit http://www.myneighborinneed.org and click on the Cities We Serve tab, then click on the city where they would like to help, then click on the Current Needs tab. Find a need request and click on the Fulfill This Need button. Or people can call 406-750-2542 and say how they would like to help. Financial need donations are made directly to the business that will fulfill the need.

People can send financial donations to My Neighbor in Need, 525 Central Ave., Great Falls, MT 59401. Make checks payable to My Neighbor in Need–Havre for help in Havre. Donations are tax deductible.

People can request help at http://www.my neighborinneed.org by completing the Request a Need form and clicking submit. People without Internet access can call 406-750-2542 and can pick up an application at the HRDC office at 2229 5th Ave. in Havre.

The operational costs are underwritten by sponsorship from Montana Farmers Union and our Partners in Dignity.
