Havre Police Department

Officers investigated Monday at 8:57 a.m. on Third Street a hit and run that had occurred during the night.

Officers investigated a sex offense related to a call made to the child abuse hotline Monday 12:35 p.m.

Officers investigated a domestic disturbance after a First Street Northeast caller reported Monday at 2:44 p.m. that her sister was “involved in a domestic.” No further information was provided about the summons issued in the case.

Officers assisted another agency near a Ninth Avenue Northwest address Monday at 3:40 p.m.

Officers issued two summonses during a motor vehicle stop Monday at 3:50 p.m. on Second Street. A 15-year-old was issued a summons on charges of driving without a driver’s license, failure to produce proof of insurance and a probation violation; and Caroline Mountain Crazyboy of Havre, 68, was issued a summons for permitting an unauthorized minor to drive and driving without insurance — second offense.

Raven Ray Wolfgang Lanier of Havre, 19, was arrested on charges of forgery/counterfeit and theft after a man went to the police station to speak to an officer Monday at 3:54 p.m.

Officers assisted a citizen after someone came to the police station asking to speak to an officer Monday at 5:27 p.m.

Officers investigated a hit and run motor vehicle crash after a Jefferson Avenue caller made a report Monday at 7:06 p.m.

Officers made five arrests after the motion detectors at a Fifth Avenue restaurant went off this morning at 3:05 a.m. No further information has been provided, and calls to the police department were not returned before print deadline.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated a burglary report after receiving a call Monday at 6:52 p.m. from a 13th Street residence.

Deputies made an arrest after a caller from the BNSF Railway Diesel Shop reported finding a person passed out on a locomotive. No further information was provided.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Monday and one today.

Fire crews responded to a fire call Monday at 3:35 p.m. after a gas odor was reported. The odor was unable to be detected by the fire department and NorthWestern Energy and no further action was necessary.

Havre Animal Shelter

The animal shelter held this morning a black and white feral cat, a black cat, a black feral cat, four black feral kittens, two males, two females, a calico cat, an orange and white female kitten, an orange male kitten, a gray and white male kitten, a tiger-striped male kitten, two gray and white cats and a long-haired, tiger-striped cat.
