Hi-Line Boys Roundup: T-Birds, Stars continue early hot streaks

With the holiday break on the horizon and a number of games scheduled in the final few days of school before Christmas, it was a hectic week as far as local boys basketball was concerned.

The action on the hardwood started Monday night, when Chester-Joplin-Inverness hosted the Turner Tornadoes. The two teams staged a competitive game, but thanks to a 27-point outing from Cory Richter, the Hawks pulled out a 67-53 win. Tyler Wanken added 18 for CJI, while Spencer Richter also finished with 11. Eddie Harmon had the big day for Turner with 20 points. Cody Welsh added 13.
