Officers investigated a sex offense made to the child abuse hotline Friday at 11:31 a.m.

Verlas Reylynne Chiefstick of Box Elder, 58, was arrested on disorderly conduct and probation violation charges.

Officers investigated a drug offense report after a Second Street business caller reported Friday at 2:52 p.m. that marijuana was found on the sidewalk in front of the building.

Sterling Howell Grimes of Bozeman, 22, was arrested on charges of aggravated drinking under the influence and reckless driving charges after a First Street West caller reported Friday at 1:54 a.m. Saturday that a vehicle hit a snowbank and was spinning its tires.

Chad Stewart of Havre, 33, was issued a summons on charges of dog at large and violations of conditions release after a caller in the alley between 13th and 14th avenues reported a vicious dog Saturday at 10:44 a.m.

Officers investigated a theft report after a Cleveland Avenue caller reported Saturday at 6:59 p.m. that a bike was stolen.

——

Officers made two arrests during a motor vehicle stop Saturday at 11:29 p.m. on First Street. Lara Shante Lawrence of Havre, 19, was arrested on a driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license charge, and Tanika Rose Lawrence of Harlem, 22, was arrested on a charge of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant.

Nicholas Patrick Mader of Havre, 19, was arrested on a charges of minor in possession and DUI after a caller reported a non-injury motor vehicle crash Saturday at 11:44 p.m. near 10th Street West and Second Avenue West.

Officers investigated a vandalism report after a Fifth Street caller reported Sunday at 11:55 a.m. that the window on her red Ford pickup truck was busted.

Officers investigated a motor vehicle crash after a caller near First Street and Fourth Avenue reported Sunday at 4:14 p.m. that their vehicle was rearended.

Jordan James Normandy of Havre, 23, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant Sunday at 4:43 p.m. near a Ninth Avenue Northwest address.

Officers investigated a theft report after a First Street business caller reported two noncombative female shoplifters Sunday at 5:50 p.m. A summons was issued, but no further information was provided.

Officers investigated a theft report after a caller near MacKenzie Hall at Montana State University-Northern reported Sunday at 7:48 p.m. that their XBox was stolen.

——

Officers investigated a theft, forgery or fraud report Sunday at 8:30 p.m. No further details were provided.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated a theft report after  a U.S. Highway 2 East caller reported Friday at 3:27 a.m. that his license plate was stolen.

Jalyn Rose Azure of Havre, 25, was arrested on a state District Court warrant Friday at 5:56 p.m. at the Hill County Detention Center.

——

Deputies investigated a suspicious activity report after a call was made Saturday at 6:41 a.m. from the east end.

Deputies investigated a disturbance after a U.S. Highway 87 business caller in box Elder reported Saturday at 5:33 p.m. that the store clerk was hit.

——

Deputies investigated a complaint after a Sixth Street North caller reported Sunday at 1:31 p.m. that people were riding dirtbikes.

——

Deputies investigated a drug offense after a caller from the Hill County Detention Center made a report Sunday at 5:14 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to six calls Friday, four Saturday and two Sunday.

Fire crews responded to a call Saturday at 4:09 p.m. at the 1500 Block of Third Street where a vehicle had caught on fire possibly because of an electrical issue. The fire was mostly extinguished by the time firefighters came on the scene. No one was hurt.

Animal Shelter

The animal shelter held this morning a female German shepherd, two male and one female shepherds, and a black, a white female border collie-pit bull mix and a male Labrador-pit bull mix.
