Four North Star students advance to state music festival

Four North Star High School students earned their way to the Western State Solo and Ensemble Festival, set for May 5-6 in Missoula, by earning superiors with performances at the District 7 Music Festival in Havre last weekend.

Cade Chvilicek received a superior on the piano piece he played, "Maple Leaf Rag." Katelyn Hansen received a superior rating on the Italian song she sang, "Selve Amiche." Nathanial Pedersen received a superior on the song he sang, "My Lovely Celia."
