Obituary: Lillian Mae Teske

Lillian Mae Teske, 96, passed away due to natural causes at Northern Montana Care Center on Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017.

Cremation has taken place, and memorial services will be held at Highland Cemetery at 2 p.m. Friday, May 12, 2017, with Ila McClenahan officiating.

Lillian's family has suggested memorial donations be made in Lillian's name to Northern Montana Care Center or the charity of the donor's choice.

Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with services and arrangements.

Lillian was born May 20, 1920, in Havre to Raymond and Nell (Hauser) Ellis. She was raised in Havre, attending schools there. On Nov. 4, 1936, she married Earl "Jack" Teske, and the couple had seven children. Lillian was a stay-at-home mom, while Jack supported the family.

She enjoyed reading, watching TV, crafts, and she loved to bake. In later years, when her eyesight began to fail her, she loved to have visitors and be read to.

Lillian was preceded in death by Earl "Jack" Teske, her husband of 50 years; her son Gary Teske; her grandsons, Gary Teske Jr. and Chris Wood; her parents, Ray and Nell Ellis; and her brothers, Dick, Pete, Ray and Jack Ellis.

She is survived by her daughters, Jackie (Jim) Winchell of Laurel, Ruth Wood of Pensacola, Floriday, and Becky (Dave) Krezelak of Havre; her sons, Leo (Marlene) Teske of Havre, Terry (Betty) Teske of Springfield, Missouri, and Tim (Joanna) Teske of Havre; her daughter-in-law Norma Teske of Havre; her 28 grandchildren; her 62 great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and her many friends, particularly her special friends, Judy Solomon and Bill Chambers, both of Havre.
